Would you like to participate in the 7th Kadampa Temple for World Peace art project?

If so, you are at the right place. Please read the terms and conditions below carefully.

Participate as a volunteer

To participate in the Art Project, you have two options: volunteer in KMC France and/or in Manjushri KMC. You can alternate between the two (for example, due to visa requirements).

Volunteering in KMC France (full until 19th October)

If you’d like to volunteer at KMC France, please note that the minimum stay is 3 weeks. If that’s the case, follow this link and fill out the volunteer form.

You will be provided with dormitory accommodation, meals and access to all the evening classes at KMC France and to General Programme classes at Manjushri during term time. Travel costs are not included.

Typical hours will be 9am-5pm, Mon-Fri (with breaks).

Volunteering in Manjushri KMC

If you’d like to volunteer at Manjushri KMC, follow this link and fill out the volunteer form, specifying that you would like to help at the art studio and that you would like to assist with the Art Project of the 7th Kadampa Temple for World Peace.

Frenquently asked questions

Is it required to speak English or French?

No, but since the project manager is English, it might be helpful to speak at least a little English. If that’s not the case, please just mention it when you sign up.

You don’t need to speak French.

Are there any specific qualifications required?

No qualifications are required for Manjushri KMC.

Regarding the art work at KMC France, it is not necessary to have an artistic background, but it is important to have a sincere desire to learn how to create beautiful, high-quality Buddha statues for the benefit of future generations. This will require three important qualities: faith (you will be working on very blessed objects), patience (you may be repeating the same movements for a long time and with great care), and attention to detail.

Do I have to bring anything?

All materials will be provided. If you have any personal supplies you’d like to bring (paintbrushes, painting, etc.), you’re welcome to do so.
